NWACC Rocks!

Why didn't they have courses like this when I was in college? I might have been able to make the Dean's List. The good one, I mean.

News today out of Benton County is that Miles Fish, music faculty member at Northwest Arkansas Community College and conductor of the Civic Symphony Orchestra, will offer a course in "History of Rock 'n' Roll." It will include Rock 'n' Roll lectures, listening, and an occasional live performance to illustrate the cultural and theoretical implications of American popular music during the past 50 years.

If they offered a course in history and practice of beer drinking, I might go for a double major. Too bad it is a dry county.
