We are still not going to comment on the Fayetteville Mayor's race, except to say that all of the announced candidates have something to offer and should remain in the race until November so the people can decide. The Northwest Arkansas Times has not yet come forth with its glowing endorsement of the incumbent, but you can count on that. Meanwhile, other papers and bloggers have taken up the slack.
The Fayetteville Flyer is asking questions today. Richard Drake's Street Jazz blog had an entry yesterday. Even the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette had an insightful editorial on Saturday. If there is a theme to be discerned here, it would be a widely-shared and pronounced lack of enthusiasm for last week's entry.
We'll keep our own counsel on the contest for another 43 days. Perhaps.
