Former Arkansas State Police Trooper Larry Norman was released Monday from the Benton County Jail after serving only 54 days of the 90-day sentence given on June 28th. Norman pleaded guilty after being charged with negligent homicide for having ignored his assigned traffic control duties to shoot and kill Erin Hamley, an innocent unarmed young man with mental disability.
Norman was released early because he washed cars and mowed grass at the jail.
