I usually rely on blog commentary from the Northwest Arkansas Crime Report to keep abreast of the entries in the police blotter, but they are on vacation. The following True Crime report is from today's Northwest Arkansas Times.
"Brandon George Smith, 22, of 1724 Live Oak, No. 7, in Fayetteville was arrested June 5 on a felony charge of fourth-degree sexual assault. Smith allegedly had sex with a 15-yearold girl. She later became pregnant. Smith told police that he was asleep when the incident occurred and didn’t know about it until the victim told him."
