The one we put on this weekend at the Rogers Little Theater was far better than the belly flop Houston Nutt gave us in War Memorial Stadium. And I imagine that Katherine Shurlds makes somewhat less than Nutt.
Thanks to everyone -- fellow journalists and the wonderful audience -- who made the 2007 Gridiron Show a smashing success. It is one of the few times that we can slip in a little humor and sarcasm without the the uptight copy editors taking all the fun out of a good story. Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert shouldn't be the only ones getting to confront hubris with humor.
