North Little Rock long claimed the title to Dogtown, but our newest Benton County city is quickly gaining on them and seems determined to capture the municipal moniker. On any given day, Bella Vista's watchful citizens are at the ready to report the numerous strays and barking dogs that plague their peaceful burg. Among the steadily escalating incidents
reported last Thursday to the
Bella Vista Police Department were the following:
• At 7: 54 a. m. Thursday, a white dog was reported loose on Dillow Circle.
• At 9: 52 a. m. Thursday, an animal complaint was made on Kirkcudbright Drive.
• At 2: 39 p. m. Thursday, an animal complaint was made on Dalbeattie Lane.
• At 7: 17 p. m. Thursday, a caller reported that her 12-year-old daughter had attacked her.
• At 9: 26 p. m. Thursday, a pregnant woman stopped at the Police Department to report her boyfriend was abusing her.
