Our old and very dear friend, Gaylord Willis, was a rascal, a rogue, and a raconteur, who offered up many good times in his Mountain Street restaurant and bar. He was a lovable curmudgeon, a left-leaning Democrat, and a former ice cream baron from San Francisco. Uncle Gaylord was one of the wonderful characters who made Fayetteville fun. Now he has gone, and we will miss him.
